When there is important information that you need to send or share with your Parents, you can make it easy to find it in their Parent Portal.
If the file(s) will be available to all, you can add them to the Studio Cloud. You can also share files with only certain classes or with individual students.
To add your file(s) to the Studio Cloud
- Navigate to Magic > Studio Cloud.
- Select Add New Folder, or select an existing folder.
- Click on Upload a file into this folder. This will open the File Upload panel where you can "Choose File", enter the Display Name and check the boxes to Share in the Portal and/or Share with Teachers.
If you don't enter a Display Name, the file name will be shown instead. At any time, you can unshare the file by returning to this page and clicking "Unshare in Portal"; you can also Delete or Replace the file from here as well.

Parents can access the file on the Portal by going to the More menu and clicking the Documents & Files link.
Then, they'll be able to see the list of your shared files. They can click on them to view and print as needed. Files shared to the individual students show their names in front. The ones that are shared with everyone only show the file name. There are additional tabs for the Class Files and Class Music that have been shared.
