The Mobile Time Clock is an easy-to-use tool for your hourly teachers and staff. They can enter their daily hours on their iPhone, iPad, or any mobile device (Android included). All hours entered by the staff are approved by the administrator before payroll is processed. This eliminates the need for owners to re-type weekly hours.
Setup Overview
A teacher or staff member that uses the Mobile Time Clock system will need access to a device that is connected to the internet. They do not need a login to Studio Pro.com. Each teacher will have a unique URL or login for the Studio Pro Studio App that they will use to enter their daily hours.
Give a Teacher or Staff Member Access
You do not have to create a user or give your teachers access to Studio Pro to be able to use the system. To share the unique URL with a teacher, go to the Staff page and click on the teacher with whom you want to share the link. Under Staff Actions, you can use the Send Mobile TimeClock Access (Email & SMS) to send the unique URL to the teacher.
If the teacher has a phone number and/or email address set up, the system will send them a text message and email with the link to the Mobile TimeClock.
When the teacher receives the email, they can click the link and start using the time clock.
Similarly, if they have a password on their teacher account, they can log into the Studio Pro Studio app, and access the Mobile Time Clock to log their hours.
*Note: Mobile Time Clock needs to be enabled under More > Settings > Class Manager > and scroll to the option to Include Teacher Time Clock:
To log a time entry:
Select the date worked. By default, the date picker is set to today’s date.
Select the time In
Select the time Out
Click the Log Time button
**A teacher can add multiple time entries per day. They can also delete any entry they make if they make a mistake. They can not, however, delete entries made by an administrator.
