When you receive a notification about a new account request, go to Magic > Online Registration and find Pending Users under the More button.
The system shows you the list of pending accounts that have been requested. You will see the View Matches link if any parents match the name or email address entered.
If there are matches, you should view them first to prevent duplicate parent entries. If you see the parent in the list of matches, click the Reset and Email Password link for that parent. That will create a new password for the parent and email it to them.
If you DO NOT see a matching parent, you can create a new parent entry by clicking Add New Account. This will let you automatically create the parent entry based on the data supplied by the parent making the request.
If you decide NOT to create a new account for this request, you can Delete the entry.
