First, go to the main Classes page and pick your class. Then click Absences in the left menu.
Now click the link to Log absences for this class. Next, select the class date and click the Set Date button.
Use the checkboxes to mark those that were absent and enter comments where needed.
Scroll to the bottom of the list of students and click the Save button.
