The system is set up to only allow students to sign up for one trial per class.
For example, this means that they could sign up for a trial in Ballet I, Tap I, and Jazz I classes all at the same time. But once their trial in Ballet I was over, they WOULD NOT be able to try that class again.
You can also set an additional "per student" limit for trials. This would mean that each student only gets a certain number of trial classes they can sign up for.
For example, if you set this number to 2, then a student could sign up for a trial in Ballet I and Tap I, but then would not be able to sign up for a trial in Jazz I because that would be 3 trials and you set your limit to 2 trials.
To set the per-student limit for trials, go to Magic > Online Registration and click the "Trials" tab. Then enter the number of trials each student is allowed to have in the "Max Trials per Student" box.
You can leave this number at 0 if you DO NOT want to set a per-student limit. If you do set a limit, then parents in online registration will only be able to sign up for trials based on the limit you set, and, in the Registration Manager, users will see this warning if they try to give a student more trials than what you are set up to allow:
