How to Set Up a Terminal with Studio Pro Merchant Services

This article will show you how you can easily set up your WisePOS E Terminal with Studio Pro Merchant Services. 

Steps: 

1. Unbox your terminal from Studio Pro Merchant Services (Powered by Stripe). 
2. Maintain all contents of the box 
3. Plug the power cable into a secure power source 
4. The terminal should turn on automatically 
5. If it does not, check the connections to ensure power flows. 
6. Next, you will connect your terminal to the internet.  

• Wi-Fi- In order to enter your password for Wi-Fi on your terminal, you must use the key mapping listed below. 

  8. Once connected to the internet, your terminal may install an update 

  9. There is no reason to worry if your terminal does not install an update. 

  10. After you are connected to the internet, this portion of the setup process is complete!  

Please Note: Skip Step 3 in the setup instructions you received with your terminal - Sim cards/Micro SD cards are not included or used with Studio Pro Terminals.

How to register terminal location: Studio Pro 

1. Go to More > Merchant Services > Terminals

2. Select the ‘Add a New Location’ button 

3. Enter the terminal location details and click the ‘Add Terminal Location’ button

4. Now that your location is set up, click on the ‘+ Connect Reader’ button 

5. Enter the key sequence 0-7-1-3-9 on your reader to display a unique registration code. 

6. Enter the Registration Code displayed on your reader into the Registration Code field in Studio Pro. Please also give this reader a label/name. 

7. Congratulations! You are all set up to process payments using your BBPOS WisePOS E reader! 🙂
