Parents can edit their family contacts through the Parent Portal if you allow that.
To enable that option go to More > Settings and click Portal Settings in the left menu.
Click the Options tab.
Check the Let Parents edit their family contacts box and Save Changes:
After saving that selection when a parent logs into their account, they can go to Account > Account Settings.

Below their primary information, they will see a list of family contacts where they can Add, Edit, and Delete. They also have the ability to indicate if they would like that contact to receive emails, statements, calls, and texts.
