To comply with federal texting regulations, a Parent must opt-in to receive text messages from your business. When a parent first creates an account, they must opt-in for texts if they would like to receive them. This option shows right above the Save Account and Login button:
Once a Parent has an account, they can manage their opt-in settings under Settings > Communications:
From there, the parent can select which type of SMS they agree to (or unselect) and save.
