When you share your costume details with parents in your Parent Portal, you can also allow them to select the sizes they want to order for each costume. If you need to know how to share costume information in your portal, use this link to get started:
Once you have shared costume information with parents, you can set up sizing options for them on the class costumes page for each class. To begin, go to Classes and select a class, then click Costumes in the left menu.
If you don't have a costume added yet, you can click Add Costume. If you have an existing costume that you want parents to pick sizes for, look under the Actions button and pick Parent Size Form.
In the Parent Size Entry fields, be sure to check the box for Parents Enter Sizes. Next, enter the sizes you want them to pick from. Parents are not allowed to type in their size. They can pick their size from a dropdown based on what you enter here. The information entered should be the different sizes all separated by commas, and if you are using a size chart you can use the Copy from Vendor link to have the system fill that out for you.
Next, if you would like parents to enter a size for tights as well you can enter a comma-separated size list in the Tights Size Options box.
**If tights aren't required you can leave this box blank.
We recommend that you enter instructions to your parents in the box labeled Parent Sizing Notes.
And last, if you would like parents to be able to enter a message to you when they fill in their size you can check the Accept Parent Notes box. If you just want them to pick a size then you can leave this unchecked.
With these options saved, a parent with a student enrolled in this class will be able to enter their size in their parent portal by logging in and going to the Costumes section.
For costumes where you have turned on parent sizing, your parent will see buttons to Enter Size and see Sizing Info.
Clicking Sizing Info will allow them to print the information you've entered for this costume.
Clicking the Enter Size button allows them to pick their size and Save.
When they save, parents are able to see which costumes they have already selected a size for.
If you allow parents to enter notes, those messages are displayed in your Students & Sizes section as well as your Robo-Sizer reports.

Where do you find the sizes the parents entered into the computer? What report does that print on and how do I know everyone did it?
