This article shows you how to pass on the $2 Ticket-Pro fee per ticket to customers, rather than covering it yourself.
Important! These fees are collected when customers
purchase
tickets. Your business will still be charged $2 USD per ticket on the 1st
of the following month. Essentially, you collect $2 USD on
top of each ticket purchase, and that $2 USD is collected on the 1st of the
following
month when your fees are due. You can view your fees under
More > Balance.
Before You Begin
You'll need:
- An event already set up in Ticket-Pro
Steps
To pass on the Ticket-Pro fee to customers:
- Go to More > Tickets & Events and select your event.
- Click Ticket Fees in the left menu.
- Enter 2 in the Ticket-Pro fee field under Applying the Fees.
- Click Save changes. Studio Pro now adds the $2 fee to every ticket sold for any show under that event.
If Something Goes Wrong
Symptom: You turned this on, but your business is still being charged the Ticket-Pro fee.
Cause: Studio Pro always bills your business $2 per ticket on the 1st of the following month. This is separate from the fee you collect from customers at checkout.
Fix: Check More > Balance to see the fees you've collected from customers. They offset the monthly charge to your business.
