With the rise of identity theft, the laws have become very strict regarding how and where you may store financial information. Financial information is defined as credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing zip codes, CCV numbers, and bank account details.
Studio Pro DOES NOT store any financial information on our servers and it is a violation of our terms of use for any dance studio to store financial information within their account. All financial information, such as credit card numbers or banks accounts should be stored within a PCI-compliant merchant processor. Studio Pro Merchant Services, Stripe, Authorize.net, and PayPal are PCI compliant merchant services.
1. How to store credit cards with Studio Pro Merchant Services
In Studio Pro go to "Parents," select the parent, then click "Auto-Pay" in the left menu.

Key in the information for the card or bank account and click the "Add" button. At the bottom of the page, you will see the payment information saved.

If you just want to save the information and NOT have the parent enrolled in auto-pay, scroll to the top of the page and click the "Unenroll From Auto-Pay" button.

2. How to store credit cards in Stripe
You can easily store backup cards in Stripe by adding a New Customer and then simply Adding a Card to that customer. If they are already enrolled in Auto-Pay, you can just go and Add a Card to the existing customer record. The benefit of this is that you can also manually charge the card if you ever need to.

3. How to store credit cards in Authorize.net
In Authorize.net, you can use the Customer Information Manager to store customer cards. Go to Tools > Customer Information Manager.

Add the customer and then add the payment profile.
