How do I process a payment using a Stripe Terminal?

 

From the Students Transaction Journal using the 'Credit Card Payment' button (or from the Process Payments section of a Parent Account) enter the Payment Details after you click Pay Now In Stripe you will see the option to 'Pay with Terminal'.

After you click Pay with Reader, you'll see the following message prompting you to use your Stripe Terminal.

You can then 'Tap' to use touch-less payment methods (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, or enabled cards), 'Insert' chip-enabled cards, or 'Swipe' credit and debit cards. Should you need to cancel before you complete the transaction on the reader, you can click on the Cancel Transaction button in Studio Pro (the attempt will show in your Stripe Dashboard). The "Payment Successful" message will show in Studio Pro and the payment will post to the Student's Transaction Journal.

**You can also use the WisePOS E in the Point of Sale area of Studio Pro - whether you select a Student to connect the sale to or not. Keep in mind that if you do not select a Student, the payment processed will not show on your Payment Reports (though it will show on your Sales Order reports).
