When you set up your Authorize.net account, by default, they set your account to "TEST MODE". This allows you to try out your account without actually charging anyone's account. Before you start using Auto-Pay or other merchant services, you need to switch your account to "LIVE" mode.
To change your system to Live mode, Log in to your Authorize.net account console. Click the Account menu item and then click on the Test Mode link.
Click the slide toggle to change your account to Live Mode. That completes the process.
