You can allow teachers to add existing and brand new students to class from the Class Manager.
First, go to More > Settings and click Class Manager in the left menu.
Scroll down to the Secure Settings section. If you have not already set a PIN, you must do that first. Then check the box that says "Teachers can add students to classes".
Now, when the teacher selects a class in the Class Manager, they see the Add Student option.
Teachers can now search for existing students to add to the class or add a brand new student. Depending on the settings for that class, the student can be added to the roll, added as a trial, or added as a drop-in. An email is sent each night to your primary email address with a summary of students added to classes the previous day by teachers.
