This can happen from time to time - sometimes parents just get confused :) To help them out and reset their password to something easy.
Go to "Parents" and select the parent, or use the search tool to find and select them. Then, at the top of the screen, click the button that says "Go to {Parent's Name} Parent Portal."
That will log you into their parent portal account. Then hover over their name in the upper right and choose "Reset Password."
Enter a new password for them, and click "Update."

As the owner, being unable to reset the password when they lock themselves out is not helpful.
We used to be able to reset for them.
