When you set up an additional season fee you can give it a different name and tell the system what transaction code to use when transactions are logged for that fee.
First go to More > Seasons, pick the season, and Save an Additional Fee.

After you have saved an amount in the Additional Fee box you will see the Change button.

If you click that button a popup appears that allows you to enter a name for this fee and select a transaction code for the system to use. Enter the name and pick a transaction code and Save.
With that saved, the system will then give the parent a breakdown of their fees. They are charged that season fee in Online Registration.
