When you run an Online Class using Messenger Rooms by Facebook you have some simple options available on all devices, and then some fun extras when using an iPad or iPhone. Joining Messenger Rooms is super easy, and you can even move seamlessly between devices while in the meeting, as you open it on your iPad, the connection on your PC will automatically be replaced by the iPad's audio and video.

By hovering over the bottom of the screen you'll see the Action buttons.

-The first one allows you to share your screen

-The second one 'See Call Participants' allows you to open a panel and 'Lock Room' so that nobody can interrupt class once it's started. You can also grab the link quickly in cases where you need to send it while in the Room.

-The 3rd and 4th buttons are your standard hide video and audio functions and the red phone hangs up - though it does not End the Room, which you will want to do at the end of each class.

If you will be using the same link for each class, DO NOT End the Room, as it will disable the link. This means class participants who have the link could potentially join and hang out with each other at any time.

Instead of Ending the Room, you can turn off link sharing by clicking on the settings gear.

Then you will see your Room's link is still saved, but others CANNOT join until you Turn on link sharing, using the same gear button.
