When you move to Studio Pro, whether you’re coming from another system or importing your existing customer list, your contacts will need to opt in to text messaging before they can start receiving texts.
To make this easy, we’ve created a ready-to-send email template you can share with your customers. It walks them through exactly where to go in their portal to opt in to SMS messages.
Subject: Keep in Touch: Set Up Text Notifications in Your Account
Hi [First Name],
We’re excited to keep you informed about updates, reminders, and announcements from [Your Business Name]. You can choose to receive text messages right from your Studio Pro portal!
Here’s how:
Log in to your Parent Portal.
Click Settings in the menu in the upper right corner.
Go to Communications.
(see example below)
Under SMS Settings, choose which types of messages you’d like to receive (or unselect any you don’t).
Click Save to update your preferences.
That’s it! You’re all set to stay in the loop with important studio updates.
