The Registration Manager will automatically send a registration email to parents when a credit card payment is made during checkout. You can also have the system send the registration email to people that pay with cash/check and to registrations where just the fees are added to be paid later.
To adjust those settings, go to Magic > Registration Manager.
Next, in the Registration Manager window choose the Settings under the More menu.
Now you can choose when you want the system to send your registration email.
