When you allow parents to book appointments without paying immediately or when you add private lessons on the appointment calendar the system will automatically post fees to the student account. By default, the fee will not have a due date but you are able to change that in your appointment settings.
To update your settings go to More > Appointments & Private Lessons in the main menu.
Next, look under the Appointment Actions button for Other Settings.
On the Appointment Settings page, enter the number of days the system should use to calculate the due date. The due date will be calculated based on the date the fee is posted plus the number you enter in this box.
**For example, if today is Tuesday and the fee is being posted today and you enter 3 in the box then the system would make the payment due on Friday.
You also have the option to set a late fee policy for the private Appointments & Private Lesson fees that are posted by the system. This setting only applies if you also enter a number for the due date. After you click Save Changes at the top, any fee posted for a private lesson where the parent is allowed to pay later will have a due date assigned automatically.
