You can have the system send your parents emails letting them know about new notes by enabling that option in your Personal Assistant Settings.
First, go to Magic > Personal Assistant.
Find the Shared Notes Helper, check the box, and save.
The system will then send out emails once a day letting parents know they have notes to check. If the parent has already read the notes, then they will not receive an email.
