By default, the Recital Wizard will put all of the students enrolled in your recital classes into the recital. There are two ways to mark a student as not participating in the recital.
1. Mark the student as completely not participating
Pick the student and scroll to the bottom of their detail screen. Uncheck the Recital box and Save Changes. That will tell the wizard that the student is not participating at all in the recital.
2. Mark the student as not participating in certain classes
Go to Classes and pick the class, then click Students in the left menu. On the class students screen, you can uncheck boxes to tell the system that the student is not participating in the performance for that class.
Be sure to Save Recital Settings at the bottom :)
