There are a number of options in Studio Pro for emailing just your recital students, and each one filters the list of recipients differently depending on your needs.
First, you can email all of your recital students using the "Main Students" page. Click "Students" in the top menu, then click "More."
Then use the dropdown to select all students that are marked for the recital.
You can then contact those students using the "Student Actions" button.
Using this option, just check the "Recital" checkbox available on each student detail page. So if a student has "Recital" checked, they would receive the email you send.
The next option for emailing recital students is to email by class.
Go to your "Main Classes" page, and check the boxes for the class or classes you want to contact. Then under the "Class Actions" button, select "Send Email to selected classes."
You should now be on the "Robo-Mailer" page where you can compose your message. On the "Robo-Mailer" page, be sure to check the box for "Recital Only."
With this option, Studio Pro will look at the "Recital" checkbox on each student, as well as your settings on each individual class, to determine who receives the email.
**For example, in the class below, only one student would receive your email because the other student isn't participating in the performance for that class.
And finally, you can email recital students using the Recital Wizard. Once you have your acts set up in your Recital Wizard for an event, select the acts you want to contact by checking boxes or clicking "Check All," then look under the "Act Actions" button for the option to "Send Message to selected acts." Using this option will only send an email to students that are participating in the recital and have been added to the acts that you select.
