How do I see how tuition is being calculated for a student?

 

By default, the Tuition Analyzer will calculate the tuition for the current date.  If you want to see the calculation for a future season you can pick a different date at the top.  So to see a future season you would pick the start date of that season and then click "Analyze."

 

At the top, the system shows you the calculated tuition on the date selected.  Then as you scroll down the system shows how that tuition breaks down. 

1. The bill separately class totals (which do not get discounts)

2. The bill separately rate classes from different seasons (which also do not get discounts) 

3. Hourly rate, class count, and fixed fee classes.

 

Adding up those amounts would be that student tuition before discounts.  The next section shows discounts and their totals.  This will show any Multi-Class, Multi-Student, or Special Tuition Discounts applied to this student.

 

If the student is set as NO charge or has a fixed tuition amount, the Tuition Analyzer also shows how those are included.
