Can I enter the price per class session and have the system calculate tuition for me?

By default, when you enter an amount in the Tuition box for a class, the system just uses the number you enter as the tuition for that class.  You are able to change this though, and tell the system to use that as the price per class session. For example, if you enter $10.00 in the Tuition box for a class and then tell the system that is the price per class session and the class has 4 sessions that month, the total tuition fee would be calculated to be $40.00.  The next month, if the class meets 5 times the tuition for a student, would be updated to be $50.00. Another alternative is to calculate for the whole season.  In this case, if you were to enter $10.00 as the tuition on a class and it was going to meet 25 times that season the system would calculate the tuition as being $250.00 for you.

 

To set up class session pricing, go to Classes and select the class the scroll down to the Tuition box.  Enter the price per class session in the Tuition box then click Save Changes.

 

After saving, click the Tuition Settings button.

 

You will now see the Tuition Settings pop up where you can tell the system to treat this as a per-class price.  You can have the calculation be per calendar month or for a full season. Like other fixed tuition options, discounts like multi-student and multi-class discounts get applied to class session pricing.
