How do I give a student a special tuition for a certain class? – Studio Pro

If a student pays the normal amounts for most classes but needs to get special pricing for just a certain class, you are able to set this up using special tuition amounts on the class. This can be applied to a single student or to a student group. For example, if you have a Competition group you can give them a special tuition amount on a class where students not in that group pay the normal rate.

To begin, go to Classes and click on your class. On the class detail page, click the Tools button that is attached to the Tuition box.

In the popup, click the link to add special tuition for this class.

To enter new special tuition, click the Add Special Tuition button.

Select whether this special tuition amount is for individual students or for a student group.

Next, enter the special amount the students should pay for this class, or check the box to Make the class no-charge for the selected students. Then, search for the students that should get this special pricing and Save. You are able to check more than one student or student group at a time to add in a batch.

You can now see the special tuition amounts listed, and you can search again to add more students or you can return to the Class detail page if you are done.

Now when you view the tuition for that student you will see it has been adjusted to apply that special tuition amount.
