When you set up tuition prorating, you have two choices for what the system does when someone registers at the end of the month. By default, the system will collect a full tuition payment (100% of the regular tuition amount).
Your other option is to tell the system to collect no tuition (0.00), and you would then post tuition fees to that account later on.
**For example, if a student is registering on October 30th and the last session in October for the class that they are adding was on October 28th, would you like the system to collect a full tuition payment to cover November, or collect no payment so you can post tuition November 1st?
You can make this selection on any season that has proration set up. Go to More > Seasons, and pick a season that prorates tuition. Then click the "Account Prorate Settings" link.
In the popup, select the option you want, then click "Save."
Notice: Keep in mind this is an account setting, so you only have to make this selection on one season and it will apply to all seasons that prorate tuition.
