You can override the system's calculated tuition rate for a student by setting the student fixed tuition or the tuition discount percentage.
Select the student and click the Tuition tab.
There you can use the fixed fee to set the tuition to a certain amount, make them no-charge, or enter a tuition discount that applies to just that student. These options are great for discounts you give to teacher's kids, military discounts, discounts for boys, or any scholarship discount you give to students.

This page gives no information on what the different options are. Why would I choose one over the other? Do I need to choose them all? If I choose one, is the system smart enough to disable the other options? Please give us more information.
